WAITRESS Original Broadway Cast Recording - CD

OFFICIAL WAITRESS ORIGINAL BROADWAY CAST RECORDING - CD

With music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles and book by Jessie Nelson, this Broadway hit brings the comedic drama of everyday life to the musical stage. “Opening Up” is an instant winner to match any of Bareilles’s piano-driven pop favorites. Sung with gusto by Jessie Mueller, “She Used to Be Mine” is a countrified soul ballad that reveals a woman losing touch with herself. The soundtrack boasts great comic timing—just check “Club Knocked Up” or “I Love You Like a Table”—but “Everything Changes” is the centerpiece of a story that thrives on common, from-the-heart truths.
